About the job

• Act as technical expert on Server, Virtualization, VDI, HCI, CI, Storage, Backup technologies
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex Datacenter implentation related issues/problems/changes.
• Accountability of Complex change & Problems (Project & Operations)
• Deploy and support Server,Virtulization,VDI,,HCI,CI,Storage,Backup solution
• Prepare/update  HLD & LLD , process and technical documentation
• Support on Critical incidents to resove within SLA & Perform RCA based on OEM inputs
• Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on Datacenter solution. 
• Work with Global IT support groups, OEMs, vendors, partners and service providers
• Provide training to operations team (L1/L2)
• Learn and keep up-to-date with the latest technology products
• Drive the integration of legacy IT infrastructure resource with Hybrid Cloud and other modern technologies/architectures to more effectively meet tactical and strategic requirements
• Act as the SPOC for critical issues that affect the storage, backup, compute, virtual infrastructure
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement fixes accordingly
• Builds strong professional working relationships with stakeholders to resolves disputes, define technical solutions, and drive positive change within the program.
• Delegates tasks as necessary to support team and maintains accountability for results.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience on hypervisors : EXSi/Hyper-V/XenServer/KVM
• Hands-on experience with vCenter , DRS, DPM,FT, Site Recovery Manager
•  Hands-on experience with Server Technologies :HP/Dell/Cisco UCS/Huawei
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-converged technologies HyperFlex/Huawei FusionCube /Nutanix/ VxRail/Simplivity
• Hands-on experience with Backup Solution : Commvault,Veeam,Netbackup
• Hands-on experience with Storage Solution :(NetApp, EMC VNX, EMC Isilon, EMC Data Domain, Compellent). Should have a good understanding of Fibre Channel and iSCSI. Automates SAN operations such as LUN (de)provisioning and snapshot management.
• Hands-on experience with VDI Solution - Citrix Xenapp,VMware Horizon,Microsoft VDI
• Hands-on experience in LAN & IP Routing, load balancers firewalls etc.
• Working knowledge and experience on private cloud computing infrastructure and orchestration : vRA, NSX, Microsoft System Center, Windows Azure Pack
• Working knowledge of Software Defined Networks and Network Function Virtualization technologies
• Hands on Experience with Vmware Migration: within On-Prem (Old to New), On-Prem to Hybrid
• Hands on Experience with Storage Migration : within On-Prem (Old to New), On-Prem to Hybrid
• Proven ability to prepare technical document i.e Design documents (HLD / LLD), Migration plan , Implementation plan, UAT documentical , run books, site books etc
• Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio
• Proven ability to work cross functional with security, network, systems, applications and workplace teams
• Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues & isolation
• Should have excellent communication skills , Excellent organizational and planning skills, Customer facing skills

• Virtulization certification - VMware VCP DCV / VCP, Hyper-V(74-409), Citrix xenserver (Any one)
• Infra Services-Microsoft Certification -MCP,MCSA,MCSE (Any One)
• Infra Services-Linux Certification- RHCA,RHCE (an added advantage) (Any One)
• VDI Certification Citrix XenApp, Vmware Horizon, Windows/Azure VDI (an added advantage) (Any One)
• Hyper Converged Infrastructure - (Cisco Hyperflex(700-905), Dell VxRAIL (DES-6322), Nutanix NCP,HPE Symplivity) (Any one)
• Converfged Infrastructure Netapp flexpod, IBM VersaStack,Purse Storage FlashStack, Dell EMC Vblock (an added advantage) (Any One)
• Storage Certification : Netapp,Dell EMC,HPE Storage,Hitachi (Any One)
• Backup Certifiation : Commvault,Veeam,Netbackup (Any One)
• Private Cloud vRA,NSX,Azure Stack (an added advantage) (Any One)

Education:

• BE / B.tech. / B.Sc. in EXTC/ Computer Science / Information Technology
